Database Developer
A database developer collects data before developing a database and to define needs. They are involved in the evaluation, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of an organization’s database. They also create methods, systems and procedures to ensure quick and correct access to information. They often work with consultants and other company employees to improve processes and provide assistance related to database management.
Information Systems & Technology Manager
Responsible for running regular checks on network and data security, an information systems & technology manager will also be typically tasked with identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems. They also design training programs and workshops. Key areas of expertise required for this role are exceptional analytical and technical skills.
IT Consultant
IT consultants are external to an organization. They help evaluate and design a company’s IT system to ensure that an organization runs efficiently. Their tasks typically involve the analysis of current systems through which they pinpoint areas of improvement and the proposal, design and implementation of solutions which will allow the client to meet their goals. IT consultants need a keen understanding of a client’s needs and business objectives as well as to provide strategic advice on the use of technology. As well as technical and analytical know-how, these professionals need good people and presentation skills.
Business Intelligence Specialist
Business intelligence specialists are responsible for supporting the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence systems within an organization. They work closely with department leaders to design and develop user-friendly dashboards for informed decision making. They will also assess and validate data as it is gathered, monitor analytics and metrics, implement new data analysis methodologies and ensure integrity in data collection and use. They may also need to detect and provide solutions to incorrect data collection.

Solutions commonly relate to a software-systems development component, but may also consist of process improvements, organizational change or strategic planning and policy development.
Information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure management facilitates the relationship between service management and technology. The goal of ICT infrastructure management is to use proven, repeatable processes to provide a stable operating environment for all individuals who may engage in the use of said technology.
Software development, in terms of business, is the process of conceiving, specifying, designing, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications, frameworks, or other software components of any given operating business.
Web development is the creation and development of any given specific website for the Internet. Web development can range from developing a simple single static page of plain text to complex web applications, electronic businesses and social network services.
