About EU Business School

EU Business School has provided high-quality instruction in a competitive learning environment since 1973. Our high-caliber faculty is made up of entrepreneurs, consultants, business leaders and full-time academics. Our faculty works with students on an individual basis to create a cooperative and caring learning environment where human values flourish. All of our courses are taught in English with programs that are student-oriented, flexible and personalized. We use a combination of classroom theory and hands-on experiential learning that draws on both the American business education model and European learning methodologies. EU Business School offers various programs at the foundation, bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate levels, with focuses on international business, business management, marketing, finance, enterprise and human resources management. With our global network, we encourage students to participate in program-related intercampus exchanges, both continentally and with partner institutions around the world.

A Year in Review!

Our first newsletter of 2018 is dedicated to our achievements of 2017 with a retrospect of the year’s events. 2017 was an exceptional year for EU Business School. EU CAREERS FAIR BROUGHT STUDENTS AND COMPANIES TOGETHER
EU graduates and alumni networked with local and international businesses, such as Zurich, PwC, TransPerfect and Bloomberg, while participating in career-building workshops and job interviews.
CHAIRMAN EMERITUS OF NESTLÉ CAME TO EU
Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, Chairman Emeritus of Nestlé spoke to students, faculty and special guests in Barcelona and Munich, giving an insight into the history of nutrition and the food and beverage industry.
EU’S ONLINE MBA RANKED 14TH IN THE WORLD BY QS TOP MBA
STUDENTS VISITED THE UN IN NEW YORK
EU students took part in the Change the World Model United Nations event, a major international meeting attended by more than 2,000 students from across the world. The headquarters of the United Nations (UN) hosted the event and saw students address global issues and discuss how they can be resolved.
BUSINESS LESSONS FROM BASELWORLD
EU Business School students visited Baselworld, the world’s leading event for the watch and jewelry industry, held in Basel, Switzerland. An event full of innovation, tradition and inspiration, Baselworld showed students the value of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

THE EU BARCELONA CAMPUS EXPANDED
We added a new location to our Barcelona campus! Located in the center of Barcelona’s business district, our Diagonal building has been specifically designed to provide students, faculty and staff with state-of-the-art facilities and comfortable surroundings for an optimum study and work environment.
MORPHEUS CUP 2017: EU STUDENTS SHINED
The brightest talent of the business world gathered at the University of Luxembourg in Belval, to compete in the third edition of the Morpheus Cup. EU students excelled in this year’s competition, winning the finance prize and the talent 4.0 prize.

LEGENDARY WATCHMAKER HONORED
Jean-Claude Biver, president of the LVMH Watch Division, CEO of Tag Heuer and chairman of Hublot Watches & Zenith Watches, was awarded EU’s prestigious Leadership Award at EU Barcelona’s Commencement 2017 ceremony. The award acknowledges the most innovative, dynamic and influential people, qualities typified by Jean-Claude Biver, a true visionary in the field of luxury watchmaking.

UITP: ELECTRIC MOBILITY 2017
EU held its first international conference on electric mobility in Munich, inviting leading industry experts, authorities and academics to this illuminating, two-day event. Students networked with experts and decision-makers from several sectors, gaining an insight into electric mobility’s imminent effect on society, from the environment to careers and everything in between.
CEO OF THE MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL CAME TO EU
Music maestro Mathieu Jaton, CEO of the Montreux Jazz Festival, spoke to an audience of EU Barcelona students and special guests at CosmoCaixa, telling the story of one the world’s most enduring and endearing music festivals. Mr Jaton weaved through the decades to tell the intricate story of this unique festival, regaling the audience with fascinating tales of legendary musicians and giving students an insight into authenticity in business.

CHAIRMAN OF NESTLÉ CAME TO EU
EU welcomed the chairman of Nestlé, Paul Bulcke, and Peter Vanham, business writer and author of the popular book ‘Before I was CEO’, for an enlightening business conference in Barcelona. Mr. Bulcke delivered an engaging presentation on his career, Nestlé’s purpose to enhance quality of life and contribute to a healthier future, its values rooted in respect, and how to navigate today’s VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world.
